Painting of the head of a bull from the Tomb of Kenamun


Painting from TT 93 in the Valley of the Nobles at Thebes, the tomb of Kenamun, chief steward of the King Amenhotep II. The offering was something very important for the ancient Egyptians, therefore, it has many types and forms including bread, beer, wine, fruits and vegetables. The ancient Egyptian also included offerings of birds and certain parts of animals, for instance, the right shoulder and head of a bull.
